Budget Airlines have sprung up all over Europe – not just in the UK and Ireland. Whilst many people assume that the likes of Ryanair and Easyjet are the only ones operating cheap flights, there are many operators across the continent flying to different places. It’s worth looking round for better deals, different routes and more convenient flight times with some of the lesser known airlines, such as Brussels Airlines based in Belgium and Transavia based in the Netherlands

Budget Airlines from Belgium – Cheap Flights With Brussels Airlines

Brussels Airlines is a very recent venture into the budget airline marketplace, coming about after the merger of SN Airlines and Virgin Express. Both airlines used Brussels, Belgium as their hub, so joining forces made pretty good sense. As Belgium is a relatively small country, there is no need for domestic flights, so Brussels Airlines concentrates on international flights. Many of these are for tourists and holidaymakers heading abroad, but Brussels is an important business and political city too, so many people use the airline for flying to the European Union institutions in the Belgian capital city.
