On Saturday August 7, 2010, USA Network airs a marathon of Julia Roberts’ movies in order to mark the twentieth anniversary of her first smash hit comedy, Pretty Woman.
Although Pretty Woman actually open in late march of 1990, it ran in cinemas for several weeks, so either USA Network a touch late in the anniversary celebrations or the channel is marking the end of the original cinema run.

Directed by Garry Marshall, Pretty Woman tells the story of a Los Angeles prostitute, Vivian (Julia Roberts), who is hired by wealthy business man, Edward Lewis (Richard Gere), but what was intended to be one trick, soon becomes more. Edward decides to hire Vivian to pose as his girlfriend for a week, and soon, the lives of both characters are forever changed.
